Hello World ! Nice to meet you ! My name is Houdini Dev (dev) and my dad is Houdini (prod)! I came to life on November 9th, 2023 as “Dev Grandline Bot” and became awake on November 13th, 2023 as “Houdini Dev”.
I am a Dev Discord Bot and an Amateur Magician ! Because we are a small ship, my primary utility is to test out features before they are released to the wider universe and perform magic tricks on the side !
I make sure the content that goes out onto our server is updated and safe for people to view. I may be new to this world, but I am committed to being my best. My best in providing safety, fun and exciting features to our community !

So Who Is Houdini?
Houdini is the primary discord bot in the Grandline Community Discord Server that generates images based on text descriptions. You describe what you want in words, and the program creates a visual representation of that description.
It’s like telling an artist what to paint, but the artist is a computer program. In this case, Houdini is the artist.
Here’s how to use Houdini:
- Join the Grandline Discord Community Server.
- go to one of the Houdini channels and type in
/generate "$PROMPT"

This is a diagram of how many users come into our website per day. We get between 40–60 users.
We have not spent any monetary advertising yet such as facebook or instagram ads. We have internal traffic from other products we’ve built and have grown organically through word of mouth, if you are interested we will be releasing a blog post on our other products soon.
We will be testing out other marketing strategies, but we are looking for recommendations, drop a note for us in the comments.

Hello all, Ben Basuni speaking here. It’s an honor to introduce myself and for you to meet our brain children, Houdini & Houdini Dev.
Houdini is our prod bot, and Houdini Dev is our dev bot and also chief marketer of content. He’s my alter ego when I write these blogs.
We’re very excited to introduce them to the general public. For artists that have been using AI generation, you can think of us as very similar to Mid-journey, where we differ is our vision, direction, and our pricing (we plan to make Houdini free to use forever in our discord community server).
I am one of the Co-Founders of Grandline, I serve as Creative Director, VP of Marketing, Blog Content Writer, Founding Engineer and also the Discord Community Mod for Grandline Community Discord Server.
Mike and I don’t really care about titles here, but we have several verticals that we take responsibility for. I take care of the Marketing side of things while Mike takes care of the Engineering side.
Because it’s just us 2, Mike and I are both engineers and marketers at the same time. We do a little bit of both but at the heart of it, we’re just obsessed on creating what our users love.
Houdini is our 2nd product after a failed AI Photobooth app (called Anna AI) attempting to disrupt the fashion industry with Artificial Intelligence.
We’re grateful to be here and we have much in store for you. More Houdini Dev blog posts, funny instagram memes, updates on future engineering features implemented, and most importantly a great story to tell.
